October 1, 2000.
After a whole year of unsuccessful foundraising activities in NYC for DeliGrocery Project 2000, Semjon decided to return to Berlin to start with an interim project, the KioskLaden Projekt. Before the end of the year 2000 a store front will be rented in the neighborhood of his galerist, Markus Richter, in Berlin-Mitte. The opening of KioskShop Projekt is planned to take place in fall 2001. A special project web site will be installed. Please check for updates.

"Rose Garden" is H.N. Semjon's newest interim art project in NYC while working on the DeliGrocery Project 2000. Semjon has created nine living rose plant sculptures. They are part of the artist's series "Holy Fauna". Being planted in a sculpted red beeswax form, the rose plants will grow and flourish. Each "Rose Sculpture" has its own iron stand. All nine "Rose Sculptures" form an environment which the artist calls "Rose Garden".
Semjon will place this installation on various contrasting locations throughout the city to experience its impact and the reactions by the people.

April 30, 2000.
H. N. Semjon is invited to show artworks at Alfred Dunhill windows on Madison Avenue. This show is part of the event "Fashion meets Art" on uptown Madison Avenue.

Nomination for the Cultural Grant of the Rema Hort Mann Foundation (NY). The decision will be announced in Spring/Summer 2000 by the Board of the Rema Hort Mann Foundation.

January 29, 2000.
Opening of 7, fashion and art store, at 180 Orchard street; e.g. designer RubinChapelle, Markus Huemer and Benjamin Cho. Each designer was represented through an artist. RubinChapelle was represented by Berte Fischer and H. N. Semjon with each an artwork. 7 is a fashion and art store, designed and opened by 'eye in the sky', a group of young designers, artists and entrepreneurs (John Demas, Calvin Yee, Gregory Gumo, Joseph Quantana and Stephen Tseng). The show is open for a week.

January 20, 2000. H. N. Semjon will participate the group show "multiple bodies" at LL Gallery @ Limelight in NYC, presenting a DeliGrocery-related installation of Product Sulptures in two refrigerators. Opening on February 3, 2000.
